What's on across Cirencester and the Cotswolds: 17 to 30 April 2026
I'm out and about most days for work, and one of the quiet pleasures of the job is that you see the village hall poster or the church noticeboard before it's on anyone's Facebook feed. So every couple of weeks I gather up what's been happening across Cirencester and the surrounding villages, in case any of it catches your eye.
Nothing too fancy in this one. A few workshops. A charity walk. A summer camp booking launch. Proper small-town stuff, which is how I like it.
This fortnight's highlights
Churn Community Hub charity walk
They're still looking for more walkers. Good excuse to stretch the legs and do something useful while you're at it.
More info →Thread & Roots sewing workshop
Small group, 9:30 to 13:30, and there's free parking on site. Early-booking discount runs out on the 19th, so worth getting on it if you've been meaning to.
More info →Sunday slow flow yoga
Small class, capped at six. A regular client swears by it. I'm more a Sunday-morning-bacon-sandwich type myself but I can see the appeal.
More info →Social netball at Kingshill
Drop-in social netball for adults. Comment "Ciren" on the Facebook post for the details.
More info →Ninja Camp summer bookings open
If you've got grandkids who've got through winter by bouncing off the furniture, bookings for summer Ninja Camp open Saturday. Sold out last year apparently.
More info →Flow and Sound at Wiltshire Wild Sauna
Yoga class with optional sauna and, for the properly brave, an ice bath. I'm saying nothing.

If you spot me, say hello. And if you've got a job piling up at home that needs doing before or after, you know where to find me.
