Handyman in Cirencester

I'm based in Cirencester, so this is home ground. I work in homes across town, from the older terraces around Watermoor and Chesterton to the newer estates off the Tetbury Road and the stone cottages near the market place.

The kinds of jobs I do most often in town are the ones that pile up. A shelf that has been on the list for months. A grab rail in the bathroom for a parent who is getting a bit unsteady. A pharmacy collection on the way. A tap that has been dripping since Christmas. A high lightbulb that nobody can reach. I work through the list and stop for a cup of tea.

If you live alone and would like a regular visit, I can book you a fortnightly or monthly slot. Or just call when the list is long enough to fill an hour or two. I also get plenty of calls from sons and daughters who live elsewhere and want someone reliable to pop in and sort a few things out for their mum or dad.

Travel and pricing

No mileage charge: you're inside my five-mile zone. The first hour is £55 and includes getting to you if you're within five miles of Cirencester. It's the minimum charge, so it's worth saving up a few small jobs for one visit. After that it's £35 an hour, charged in half-hours. Got a longer list? A half day (4 hours) is £125 and a full day (8 hours) is £230.
